Panera Bread Is Giving Out Free Sandwiches In the Coldest U.S. Cities—Here’s How to Get Yours

Panera Bread offers some of the most delicious breads and baked goods anywhere in the United States, but the item the brand is most well-known for is its signature baguette. Great news for bread fanatics: Panera is launching a few new toasted baguette sandwiches this month, taking the baguette we all know and love to the next level.
But that’s not all the good news. To kick off the latest additions to the Panera menu, customers in select cities (New York City, Boston, Denver, Washington, DC and Chicago) will be able to snag a new sandwich for free between Jan. 17 and Jan. 22.
What Are Panera’s New Toasted Baguettes?
Panera’s new Toasted Baguettes feature fresh ingredients and Panera’s fan-favorite signature baguette, toasted to perfection. Available in three delicious variations, it may be difficult to choose which to try first.
- Green Goddess Caprese Melt features fresh mozzarella, grated Parmesan, basil, arugula, peppadew peppers, green goddess dressing, garlic aioli, salt and pepper.
- Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt delivers the bold flavor of pepperoni with fresh mozzarella, a fontina and mozzarella blend and market sauce.
- Smoky Buffalo Chicken Melt contains smoked chicken, American cheese, fresh red onions and Buffalo sauce.
Order your favorite Toasted Baguette on repeat, or rotate through the three mouthwatering recipes to change it up. Each baguette is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, which is why it’s been the ideal base for sandwiches as well as the go-to side for salads and soups since Panera’s inception.
How Can I Get a Panera Toasted Baguette for Free?
To get your free sandwich, keep your eyes peeled for a coupon code on local digital billboards, like the Times Square marquee in New York City. Chicago locals have an extra special treat to look forward to, as Panera will be dropping the promo code in the actual snow.
